The Potomac View Terrace will be located on the sixth floor of the APhA Headquarters building and will provide a breathtaking view of the Potomac River, the Washington, Lincoln, and Jefferson Memorials, as well as the Capitol. This expansive area will be able to accommodate standing receptions for more than 600 people or outdoor, seated events for slightly smaller groups. The Association has already commissioned a preliminary survey of meeting and event planners in the Washington, DC, area. The results showed the proposed construction of this terrace to be a highly desirable venue and one that will be highly sought after for some of Washington’s very special events.
